Vejgaard B – FC Nordsjaelland 0:4
Both Superliagen teams FC Nordsjaelland and SönderjyskE could celebrate away wins in the third round of the danish cup.
Nordsjaelland cruised to an easy 4:0 win at lower league team Vejggard B. The Superligaen leaders dominated throughout the whole 90 minutes and already lead 2:0 after 13 minutes thanks to early goals by 17-year old youngster Andreas Skov Olsen (10.) and Matias Rasmussen (13.).
FCN decided the match after one hour when Rasmussen scored his second of the night (59.), followed seven minutes later by a converted penalty of Mohammed Fellah.
Vendsyssel FF – SönderjyskE 1:2
A bit more difficult was the task for SönderjyskE who where up against Vendsyssel FF from the 1. Division. The match was still drawn at halftime with both teams scoring once. Midfielder Troels Klove gave the visitors an early lead (8.), VFF answered twenty minutes later when Ogude Emmanuel Ifeanyi equalised for his team.
Again it was Klove who brought the Superligaen side back in front again with another early goal in the 49th minute. This was the final result since Vendsyssel didn’t manage to bring anything more on the scoreboard.
The last match of the DBU Pokalen third round will be played between Hellerup IK and Silkeborg IF on 11.10.2017.
